Adoption Alliance, Inc.

Greetings!

Adoption Alliance is a licensed, nonprofit, non-denominational agency founded in 1989 to serve needy children throughout the world. Our mission is to find safe, loving, permanent homes for children. We place children of any race, color, or national or ethnic origin. We serve families without discrimination on the basis of gender, marital status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race, color or ethnic origin. We are committed to providing professional and ethical services to the children and families we serve. We are members of the Child Welfare League of America, the Joint Council on International Children's Services, and the Colorado Association of Family and Children's Agencies. We achieved national accreditation through the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children in the Fall of 2000.

Adoption builds families. Children are waiting...

Adoption Alliance is licensed by the State of Colorado to provide the following services:

U.S. Adoption

We provide loving homes for children through our Designated Infant, Waiting Child and Kinship adoption programs. We provide comprehensive services for all members of the adoption triad--the child, the child's birth parents, and adoptive parents.

International Adoption

We work with families from Colorado and throughout the U.S. who wish to adopt through our international placement programs in Guatemala and Kyrgyzstan.  We also assist Colorado families who wish to adopt through an out-of-state placement agency or through their own contacts in many other foreign countries.

We also work with families from Ireland who wish to adopt through our Mexico Program.

Our policies and procedures are consistent with requirements of the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption.

Foster Care

Through our medical and therapeutic foster care programs we provide loving, licensed foster homes for children from ages birth to 21 who are in the custody of the county departments of social services. Placement in a potential foster-adopt or permanent home is always our priority.

Other Services

  • We provide a comprehensive education program for adoptive and foster parents and professionals. We also have an extensive book, videotape, and audiotape lending library.
  • We provide general adoption and foster care information meetings for prospective families.
  • We offer post-adoption workshops, support groups, and counseling referrals.
  • We offer relinquishment counseling.
  • We accommodate special needs of the children and families we serve, including language or ASL translation services, physical disability accommodation, and transportation. We are also available evenings and weekends for clients whose schedules or special needs require after-hours service.

Our office is located in Denver, Colorado on 2121 S Oneida St., Suite 420.  You may reach us at 303-584-9900.

We welcome your interest in our services and look forward to working with you.

Sincerely,
The Adoption Alliance Staff
